Keep Your Eyes on Jesus By Pastor Paul Black

There are revivals bursting all over the United States right now in many of the major universities. Pray the fire continues to burn and expand. On the other hand, there is major revelation coming in the recent arrest of P Diddy Combs. Apparently, there are names of 38 names of ministers who are connected to Diddy, perhaps the most notable being T D Jakes. There are those that believe that this will cause the great “falling away” or apostacy spoken by the Apostle Paul to young Pastor Timothy, 1 Timothy 4:1-2 (ESV)

His Eternal Word By Pastor Paul Black

One of the purposes of God’s word is not just to bring teaching and instruction but also to bring peace. Jesus is called the “Price of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6). His Word triumphs over every situation. His word healed this sick, raised the dead, gave sight to the blind and calmed the sea. In fact, Jesus said His Word will even outlast heaven and earth. (Matthew 24:35)

US Constitution Week. By Major Eric Kaltrider (USMC)

As thirteen, united States unanimously declared in 1776, —Life, —Liberty, —Property and/or the Pursuit of happiness…are among the inalienable rights which the Creator “endowed” [gave] to men; human governments are instituted for this valid purpose: “to secure these Rights….” But human governments may only derive “just powers” through the consent of the [People] governed…in other words, they do not “create” new authority/powers, but rather may only delegate existing powers from among those which the Creator already has delegated to men.  In 1776, the foundation for United States government was laid upon these principles; 11 years later, the Constitution was established to order/organize its powers accordingly.  (Under God.  See John 19:11; 2 Corinthians 3:17, Galatians 5:23, Psalm 144:15.)

Dying to Self By Pastor Paul Black With Kevin Riordan

The purpose of Jesus’ death was not just about redemption, it was a process by which those who would follow His example would also lay down their lives for one another. The result? The world would also see Jesus through His followers. Seeds produce harvest. Jesus becoming a seed in the ground will produce a harvest of individuals who the world will recognize as His disciples. In other words, the revealing of the “sons of God” that the world is eager for. (Romans 8:19).

Keep Your Eyes On The Prize, And You Will Reach The Finish Line By Susan Hawkins

Now, in line with those promises, make sure you keep your eyes on Me. If you divert them, you will look at the wind and waves and begin to sink. Those who keep their face like flint upon Mine will reach their destination intact and full of the Spirit of Life. This is the plan that will bring so many others into the knowledge of their Savior and Lord. Don't you know that actions speak louder than words? If your actions speak of My saving grace, My victorious way in this life, others will follow, I can promise you.

‘My people, align not with the taunts of the enemy, “I failed to OCCUPY,” and align yourself with My truth that is declaring over you, “FULFILLED AND OCCUPIED!” My people, you MUST see as I see. You MUST listen to My voice and LOOK AGAIN. I am calling you higher. LOOK AGAIN in the areas of promise that I have spoken to you. Let My fire fall upon your eyes to refine your focus and to deliver you from the filters of the process. SEE as I SEE! As you look again, you will see that the war has escalated recently, because of the threshold of birthing that you are crossing.

There seems to be so much confusion in the world right now but I believe inspite of it, the best is yet to come. GOD is not the “author of confusion” but works behind the scenes to bring His purposes to fruition. Keep your eyes on Him especially during this season. I am including today’s prophetic bulletin from Lana Vawser for your encouragement which I believe tells us exactly what God is doing in this August. I hope you will be encouraged by her word and take preparations for what God is about to do.

Beware of Wolves. From Pastor Paul Black

If you’re not in a spirit-filled congregation and you're living without weekly fellowship, your spiritual life will be sunk by the devil. I’ve witnessed it over and over in my almost 50 years of minisrty. People say “oh I’m taking a break from Church, i’m in a different season’! You are in the crosshairs on the periscope of the enemy. Why do you think the Apostle Paul says this in Hebrews 10:25 (ESV)

“Do not neglect to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Water Baptism By Pastor Paul Black

Now there is a whole lot of stuff to unpack in these 2 portions. However, all I want to illustrate really is the emphasis that Jesus placed on water baptism. In fact, some denominations such as some “Baptists” and “The Church of Christ” don’t believe you are saved until you are water baptized. However, I believe that would emphasize salvation by works and not by faith; Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. “

God’s ways are always higher than ours. Even in our pain of loss, we can trust Him. Can you imagine all that Job went through? He lost his wealth, his health and his family. In all his grieving and loss, he learned to worship the Lord, Job 13:15

“Though he slay me, I will hope in him, yet I will argue my ways to his face.”

"Keep Lookin’ Up" By Pastor Paul Black

It's easy to get caught up in the emotion of the times and get worried and downright stressed about all that’s going on in the world. Such is not the case, however. There are parallel universes at play here. On one side, there the kingdom of darkness which would appear that’s winning. It always seems that way. Living in this oppressive darkness threatens to snuff the light out. Jesus tells us what to do. He says, “keep looking up”! Why? Because there is another kingdom at work here, the “Kingdom of Light”. The light always overcomes darkness, always! It’s science! The darker the room, the brighter the smallest candle!

When the Lord led Cheryl and I to begin pastoring 32 years ago, He told us never to worry about building a building. He always would put us where He wanted us to be. For 22 years, we had made “Fredericktowne Mall” our home. God gave us a wonderful relationship with the owners and manager Tom Bradley. Well almost two years ago, we were forced to leave our home by the new mall ownership who wanted to make more money. Well, God directed us after a short time at “Harvest Christian Fellowship” we joined “Divergent” church in FSK Mall.

YOU HAVE ENTERED YOUR SEASON OF THE GREATEST UNLOCKING YOU HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!! By Lana Vawser

There is a SIGNIFICANT increase in the SEER ANOINTING over the daughters of God right now to SEE what is happening in the Spirit, and move in greater discernment. There is such a significant invitation from the Lord to meet Him at His table to receive a greater impartation of DISCERNMENT. The Lord showed me that as the daughters of God continue to commune with Him, seek Him (Isaiah 55:6, Jeremiah 29:13, Jeremiah 33:3, Deuteronomy 4:29) and continue to ask for discernment (Psalm 119:66), the Lord is releasing powerful DOWNPOURS of DISCERNMENT. And when decreed, prayed into, implemented in the way that He is leading, the Lord is going to be releasing great shifts, birthings, alignments, changes of direction and tipping points in the areas the Lord is releasing the discernment.

The Power of Love By Pastor Paul Black

We must pursue love for God first. Love for God begins with the fear of the Lord which will keep our love for Him and for others pure. Love starts with serving Him and being obedient in everything He asks. He must be at the center of everything we do and say. It is spending time with Him pursuing Him and living more by the Spirit every day. It is a surrendering of my desires and then wanting to please Him in everything.

Because we’ve been washed in His blood, We’ve been totally forgiven and restored in fellowship to Him. Don’t listen to Satan’s whispers that we’ve been somehow disqualified. His blood has washed you from all defilement and now you are in the process of being restored to walk in glory; to be put on display as a prized possession of the Lord Jesus, Galatians 3:13 says…

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—

What’s in a Name? By Pastor Paul Black

God inserting Himself in a name can be seen in the lives of Abram and Sarai. God changed Abram (Father is highly exalted) named to Abraham when he was 99 years old after reaffirming His promise to him in Genesis 17:5. Sarai’s name was changed to “Sarah”. The “ha or ah’ representing the breath of God being inserted in a name. Isaac meaning “laughter” was defined to remind Sarah that she had laughed when told of God’s promise because of her age. She was 89 at the time.

It's interesting that the Apostle Paul addresses the “five-fold” ministry in his letter to the very church of Ephesus. Their two objectives; heal and equip the body and connect them to Jesus to become a living expression of the His image to the world. Thus, connecting the church to its head, Jesus.

God is Always on Time, Always Pastor Paul Black

Jesus is before time from eternity past. He exists outside of time and space. The Apostle John gives further revelation of this truth in the beginning of his gospel writing this by inspiration by Holy Spirit, John 1:1-5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
