Last Sunday, Jim King had a word of knowledge that there was a black wolf with red eyes patroliing the parameter of our congregation seeking who he could distract snd take out. Our prayer group confirmed last night what Jim had seen in the spirit. However, I believe this is also a word for the larger church as well. God is exposing many men who have been seen as shepherds but are wolves on sheep clothing. Here is a scripture that Fidel Castellanos sent me this morning. It’s from Matthew 7:15-20 (ESV)
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
During the Second World War, conveys of ships would come across the Atlantic Ocean to bring supplies and troops to England to help the Allies eventually defeat the Nazi’s. Hundred’s of ships were sunk because of the German submarines. The submarines would hunt in packs, They became known as “Wolf-Packs. This was a great detrment to the Allies cause until the ships started to sail in convoys that were protected by both American and Canadian Naval destroyers. The movie “Greyhound” paints an awesome picture of what this time was like. My own uncle was a sailor on a Canadian destroyer; the HMCS Iroquois”. He left home at 17 and came home after the war as 24. He struggled with alcoholism all his life. He ship involved in protecting the conveys from the wolf-pack. The invention of sonar turned the tide of the war as the packs were hunted down and destroyed by the destroyers. Ships that sailed alone were sunk almost 100% of the time.
If you’re not in a spirit-filled congregation and you're living without weekly fellowship, your spiritual life will be sunk by the devil. I’ve witnessed it over and over in my almost 50 years of minisrty. People say “oh I’m taking a break from Church, i’m in a different season’! You are in the crosshairs on the periscope of the enemy. Why do you think the Apostle Paul says this in Hebrews 10:25 (ESV)
“Do not neglect to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
What day is he talking about? It’s the “Day of the Lord” We are entering the Lord dealing with the age we’re living in. We need “all hands on deck”. If you’re feeling like you’re disconnected, you’ve already been torpedoed. We can’t have anyone AWOL for this battle.
There are good shepherds out there who will be judged by the Lord more sternly than those who aren’t. I trust i’m one of those. I fear and love the Lord with all my heart, soul and mind. Come fight with me! I am like the Captain of a ship trying to avoid the wolf-pack by the use of sonar, “like Holy Spirit”. It breaks my heart when we have casualties; those who have been lost in battle. The Lord has out us in a position to “watch” over your souls. Hebrews 13:17-18 (ESV)
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you. 18 Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things
Interesting that these are the verses that fallow in this passage; Matthew 7:21-23 (ESV)
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
There is a huge difference between the “Gospel of the Kingdom” and the “American Gospel”.
The “GOK” demands you to lose your life, pick up your cross and follow Jesus. The “AG” says “come to Jesus, He’ll give you a wonderful life, fix all your problems and give you money and a successful ministry”. If you watched the “Chosen, Season 4”, this is exactly the type of ministry that Judas Iscariot desired. He ended up denying Jesus to the religious system of the day.
The Apostle Paul aid the foundation for the Gentile church. He didn’t stay in 5 star hotels and get treated like a “Rock Star” or worshipped like some god. Listen to his testimony from 2 Corinthians 11:20-31 (ESV)
For you bear it if someone makes slaves of you, or devours you, or takes advantage of you, or puts on airs, or strikes you in the face. 21 To my shame, I must say, we were too weak for that!
But whatever anyone else dares to boast of—I am speaking as a fool—I also dare to boast of that. 22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they offspring of Abraham? So am I. 23 Are they servants of Christ? I am a better one—I am talking like a madman—with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. 24 Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; 26 on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; 27 in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food,[a] in cold and exposure. 28 And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to fall, and I am not indignant?
30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. 31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.
Paul, arguably the most influential man in the early church also said this in Galatians 1:8-9 (ESV)
“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.”
In conclusion, I believe that we are entering the most extreme important time in Church history. The real church of the next extra will be filled with individuals that have said “NO” to their own desires, feelings and self -worship and people who are committed to Jesus and one another with great love. Gone are the days of the “conference junkies”. These individuals will be set ablaze with the Spirits fire and they will see their influence on their nations realized. It is time for the “sons of God” to arise. All creation is demanding it.
Yes, we need righteous discernment so that the wolf doesn’t distract us and lead us away into his lair. If you’ve ever seen the movie “Grey” with Liam Neeson, it’s about a man who has survived a plane crash in Alaska. He is being followed by a wolf who the is trying to stay away from. The last scene of the movie (spoiler alert) shows that the wolf who he thinks he’s outsmarted has actually outsmarted him as he finds himself squarely in the middle of the wolf’s lair surrounded by the pack.
There is another excellent prophetic/word of knowledge from Lana Vawser. (I’ve included the link below).
She seems to hit the nail on the head” time and time again. Just like Kim Clement used to. Although Kim spoke years in advance to the present day happenings, God is clearly speaking to those who are listening with spiritual ears.
We need sharp discernment “radar and sonar” especially in this time so after running this race youf disqualify yourself by bailing out.
