There are things about these days we are living in that seems apocalyptic. I know that seems like a “Captain Obvious” but depending upon your perspective, it can either be exhilarating or terrifying. Now from the perspective of the patriarchs, this statement is made in Hebrews 11:13 (ESV)
“These (the patriarchs) all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth”
There is something about this verse that is incredibly encouraging and hopeful. The patriarchs gave up the hope of having their promises met because of us. This doesn’t seem to fit the Christian narrative of the last 175 years. Things are supposed to get worse and worse and with the church getting “raptured” out of the earth to escape the chaos. There is something about the pre-trib rapture position that has always bothered me. To me, it is just inconsistent with the power of the Kingdom to destroy the works of darkness. If we’re getting raptured out of here, how is Jesus’ statement about the victorious come to pass; Matthew 16:17-19 (ESV)
“And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
The failing church does not fit this declaration from Jesus. In doing research, the dispensational view was propagated mostly through the teachings of Dr Schofield and the Scofield Bible. It effected a millennium of believers and had devastating impact. The production of his Bible was funded by two Zionists who were connected to the Rothchild’s of the Cabal. Is it possible that this view was brought into the church to destroy our ability to be salt and light? It seems so since 90% of the church does not even vote in elections. We would have the ability to have a major influence on our nation if we realized our potential. It is this pastors view that there is so much of the teachings of Jesus that have been lost because of this decision.
I believe that we are entering the age of the harvesting of both the wheat and the tares. All the seed that has been sown in the past 6000 years began to ripen and come to fullness since the turn of the century, All the fruit of the tares will be revealed and discarded by the Lord, Matthew 13:24-30 (ESV)
“He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away.26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”
There are revivals bursting all over the United States right now in many of the major universities. Pray the fire continues to burn and expand. On the other hand, there is major revelation coming in the recent arrest of P Diddy Combs. Apparently, there are names of 38 names of ministers who are connected to Diddy, perhaps the most notable being T D Jakes. There are those that believe that this will cause the great “falling away” or apostacy spoken by the Apostle Paul to young Pastor Timothy, 1 Timothy 4:1-2 (ESV)
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, 2 through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared”
At the same time, the greatest harvest the world has ever seen will be taking place. That’s what Jesus said. So, what are we to do when we see all these things happening on the earth. The Lord says to keep our eyes upon Him, Luke 21:25-28 (ESV)
“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26 people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
In other words, keep your eyes on Jesus!! Maranatha! The Spirit and the bride say “come” Lord Jesus.
