The following is a blog from one of our church members, Susan Hawkins. I wanted to make it this weeks church blog as it feel it captures the essence of what the Lord has been challenging all of us in during the present season.
“ Hold fast your confession of faith, and let no one take it from you. You know Me and can expect what I promised. What will you do if you allow them to take what you have from you? I’m telling you now that the work you are to do will require faith. Not one thing I have for you will need a dependency on man. My ways are not man’s, and I have planned an unprecedented work. Do not be dismayed when you see the things that will occur; just know that it is the foundation for the miraculous seen by the world. Hallelujah!
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
I know you inside and out and what I have invested in you. You are ready for this work and have been since before you were born. I have planned it, and I will complete it with you. Hold fast your confession of faith, I say do not let your guard down. I am your all, and you will succeed in all I have for you to do. I will accomplish all I have decided to do and no manner of evil will stop it. You have been given faith in the future, no matter how you feel from one day to another. I placed that faith in you, and your hope is alive and well.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
If you stop and think about the trials you have faced and how you have overcome them, you will know I was with you, bringing you through. There is a purpose for each of My children that I will complete. I have always been there during hard times, and you were able to rise above them. Do not think now that has changed. No manner of evil will touch you, child, and you will be My ambassador for others.
He shall deliver you in six troubles, Yes, in seven no evil shall touch you. In famine He shall redeem you from death, And in war from the power of the sword. Job 5:19-20
I have a glorious plan and will see it to the end. If you could see from My perspective, your most holy faith would buoy. All I have done from the beginning has been for My glory and your good. I will have My way, and the earth will be full of My glory. The angels, good and bad, will know that I reign supreme and judge righteously. When I wrote; in the field, one would be taken, and one left; what did you think I was saying to you? I can keep My children in all situations and they will not be destroyed. Think about this.
For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Matthew 24:38-40
