Much Thanks to Everyone
Today, we finished cleaning out the 66 Waverley facility with 22 years of items to either take with us or discard. We are so grateful to all those who have helped us. It would be dangerous for me to name all those who helped us, but the Lord knows who you are. However, special thanks to Victor and Laura Lugo who were our special assistants in giving direction. Watching you all work last Saturday, especially was the best gift any of you could have given this pastor. In all my 45 years of pastoral ministry, I had never seen so many work in such harmony and unity to get the job done. An atmosphere of love was so present, and I couldn’t help but think that the Lord was pleased. Psalm 133 came to mind.
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes!
3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion, for there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.”
New friends of ours that came down from Pennsylvania to help were amazed at how well everyone was working together and what love there was in the building.
We transferred our sound and video equipment to “Harvest” today along with many supplies. Thank you, Dave Ovenshire and Mark Crowe, with all their help and supervision getting things ready for the move. It may take a few weeks to “finetune” everything, but we will be working hard to make our broadcasting as perfect as we can get it. Pastors Justin and Freda Thomas have been outstanding in their love and hospitality towards us. We can hardly wait to show the “new digs” to our church family. Many of you felt that Cornerstone would be getting an upgrade, the church and property are immaculate and extremely peaceful. Thank You Jesus!!
See you all Friday night for our church Bon-fire, hopefully our first celebration of many in this next season.
