I recently came across a statement that Bobby Connor said quite a while back. He stated that love opens the door to heaven and that we are to be so full of God that when we go to heaven, it will not be a big transition. I believe we are now being given an open invitation and a challenge to pursue and demonstrate this fullness of the Father's love. These statements reminded me of a scripture that I have been confessing over my life for years.
Ephesians 3:18 "be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; "It was recently that the Lord drew my attention to the next verse. vs. 19:"and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]."
Wow! It says here that when we fully comprehend and experience the love of Christ, we will be filled with the fullness of God...we will be flooded with God Himself! Have you ever thought about what that will look like? This will happen when we know through personal experience and not just head knowledge His amazing love for us and for all of mankind.
We are entering into the fullness of so many things that are written in scripture. We will see the fullness of the five-fold ministry gifts. We will see the fullness of both good and evil. We will see the unfolding fullness of the prophecies spoken. But what I want to focus on in this blog is that it will be us branded and immersed in His love that will result in the fullness of God manifesting in the earth. It was the love of the Father that Jesus demonstrated when He walked upon this earth. Love healed. Love delivered. Love rebuked. Love directed. Love sacrificed. Love loved unconditionally. Love laid down His life for all of mankind. Love did not run from darkness but ran to darkness to release light. As it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end, "LIGHT BE!"
Could it be that Enoch had so perfected his love walk that you could not tell where he ended and the Father began....they were seamless [smooth and continuous, with no apparent gaps or spaces between one part and the next]. Scripture says that he walked with God and then he was not. I sense that Enoch became so like God..he was so in union with the Father...that the Father just took him because He took such pleasure in their fellowship. This is why we need to heed Hebrews 12:1-2:
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and clearly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us [looking away from all that will distract us] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].
So what will this fullness of God in us look like? Back to Bobby's statement. "love opens up the heavens". What would it look like to live in a place of open heaven? Maybe it will be that this love will send us where we would not normally go. Out of this love, we will speak His word and the mountains that hinder us will be removed. This love will cause us to step out of our comfort zone to minister to a stranger. This love will draw those who have been turned off by religion and towards a relationship with the lover of their souls. This love will be bold and confront the spirit of this world that comes against the will of the Father. Love will speak the truth. This love will touch the leper and he will be made whole. This love will only speak what is told to speak. Can you envision us, as His chosen, moving and having our being in Him? I believe this is a fast track we are on as His remnant.
"Father, may You begin to unravel in us all that does not align with the fullness of Your love in us. We desire to be filled with, experience, and be so rooted and so grounded in Your love that we will not be shaken, but we will be used as a vessel through which You may dispense Your love and Your fragrance to this lost and dying world."
2 Corinthians 2:15 "For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which ascends] to God, [discernible both] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;"
2 Corinthians 13:14 "The amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you."
