I am so blessed to have many prolific writers and scribes surrounding me as Pastor to help carry the load of communicating truth. My dear friend Susan Hawkins is one of them who I so respect and love dearly. Every time she writes her blog, it blesses me, I thought her most recent one was awesome so I wanted to share it with you. May the Lord bless you on this Palm Sunday.
Make room for more. I need you to focus on what I have told you in the past. You must lay down all your fears; they are not from Me. My hope will keep you as you pray and seek My face. Let go of everything with no life so you can embrace all I have for you. Yesterday is gone, and today is full of promise, so keep your eyes on My face and allow Me to show you the most excellent way.
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Hebrews 12:2
Let your way be a light to others watching so they know how to navigate the troubling times ahead. You are beacons of light for the Kingdom of Light, and light exposes the darkness so that you can see the traps and the harm the enemy plans nullified. Your part in this day is important as I have invested in you My Word, My Spirit, so you can be ambassadors of life and reveal My way for others to follow. You do not need to worry about anything, for I take care of My own, and I desire that you show forth My provision, protection, and power.
So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20
Do not despise the times ahead, for they are to showcase My glory. Remember Egypt and how I kept My own amid the turmoil around them. It was evident to the Egyptians that divine help was on their side. Why do you think many of the Egyptians left with the Israelites? You are to be My canvas for this generation as I portray My power and love. They have been told only of My wrath and judgment. You who have experienced My love and care can now showcase all I am. Yes, there are sides of My character that include what they believe, but because I am holy, righteous, and just. Be clear: this is a momentous time in history, and you are a part of it. Be glad and rejoice that I choose you to carry the glory of your King.
And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18
