By the time you read this, Thursday’s Thanksgiving Dinner will be long digested, and the first round of turkey sandwiches already eaten. We trust that each if you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. There is so much to be thankful for.

From a national perspective, I am so grateful that God has remembered our nation and began the process of delivering us from this insane “wokeness” that the leftist elites were trying to push upon our nation, especially our children. As he did with the Children of Israel, God as remembered the covenant he made with our forefathers. Exodus 2:24

“And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob”.

I believe that because of all our humble intercession for our Nation, God has answered our prayers as he promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV)

“if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land”

He has given us a President who desires to put God back as the foundation of our Nation. A true Josiah!

“The Second Book of Chronicles records that Josiah was eight years old when he became king. In the eighth year of his reign, he "began to seek the God of his father David" and in the twelfth year of that reign he began a program of destruction of Baalist altars and images throughout Jerusalem and Judah.” Wikepedia.

However, we must pray for Him that pride does not enter His heart. Kim Clement prophesied that he would be filled by the Spirit in his 2nd term. Only humility and reliance on God will “Make America Great Again”.  However, I must believe that what is taking place in America is part of God’s plan because we are reminded by so many scriptures that God’s best is yet to come. We must continue to pray fervently that all God intends for us will be realized. We’ve only just begun.

Habakkuk 2:14 (ESV)

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea”

Joel 2:28 (ESV) (Acts 2:17 emphasizes the last days)

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions”

Mathew 24:14 (ESV)

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come”.

2 Peter 3:9 (ESV)

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance”.

Get my point? The enemy is not happy that the people of our nation spoke and voted for righteousness. He’s already lost! The “Kingdom of God” is at hand and the remnant has a major role in releasing it into the earth. Don’t be unraveled by the increased news of scandals in the America church. God is cleaning house according to 1 Peter 4:27 (ESV)

“For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?”

He cannot bring the final great world harvest into a church that has compromised itself with the world and worships itself and money. I’m thankful that He continues to discipline those He loves according to Hebrews 12:5-6 (ESV)

And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?

“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
nor be weary when reproved by him.
For the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”

The “Day of the Lord” is upon us where God once again enters the affairs of men to bring about His purposes and Kingdom upon the earth. For the righteous, the “Day of the Lord” will be glorious; Luke 21:28 (ESV)

“Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

For the wicked, the “Day of the Lord” will be terrifying! Revelation 6:5-6 (ESV)

“Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb”

I had a dream last night which seems to refer to Revelation 12:12 (ESV)

“Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

Our adversary, Satan is not happy about God moving on our behalf. Because of that, we must draw close to Him and release concern about what is temporary and cling to the eternal. Colossians 3:2-3 (ESV)

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God”

God is and will establish His kingdom upon the earth. Nothing can stop it. I’m thankful that no matter what we face in the process, our hope is in God and our future is secure in Him. He gives us the protocol for all that an angered adversary may throw at us. Revelation 12:10-12a (ESV)

“And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers[b] has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. 11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. 12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them!”

I love these verses in Jeremiah 17:7-8 in the “Common English Bible”

Happy are those who trust in the Lord,
    who rely on the Lord.
They will be like trees planted by the streams,
whose roots reach down to the water.
They won’t fear drought when it comes;
    their leaves will remain green.
They won’t be stressed in the time of drought
    or fail to bear fruit.

 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ESV)

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”

We have a Savior who cares of us! So much to be thankful for. Like Joshua, we have just entered the “Promised Land”; the promises of God for our nation. Now through prayer and obedience, we must conquer and rid our nation of the “giants” that still inhabit our cities, counties, states and nation that continue to shout “blasphemies” against the purposes of God for America.  It will be through the effectual prayer of righteous people that all will be accomplished. The Battle has just begun! We must take back the land!!  Let’s be thankful today but then go to war!!

Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:7-13 (ESV)

And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever, Amen!!
