What God is doing in this season has absolutely nothing to do with politics.
I truly believe we are in the season of seeing God as a consuming fire. The writer of Hebrews makes this declaration in Hebrews 12:26-28 (ESV)
“See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven. 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, 29 for our God is a consuming fire.”
Everything seems to be shaking right now. Our faith and trust is all being tested by fire; relationships, finances, securities, church are all going through the fire. Good friend, Christopher Carter, who recently went home to be with Jesus, spent years studying and teaching the Mazzaroth (Biblical term for Zodiac, Job 8:32). He felt that we are moving from the age of “Pisces” into “Aquarius”. According to Christopher, we move from one age to another every 2100 years. The constellations are sign posts that give as an understanding as to where we are in God’s “timeline”, Genesis 1:14 (ESV)
“And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years”
The Hebraic word for “sign” is the word אוֹת (oth) which means, “signs, omens promised by prophets as pledges of certain predicted events”. According to Christopher, we move from age to another every 2100 years.
The “Age of Pisces” is considered by some as the Age of Christianity, inasmuch as the 2160 years sometimes allotted also coincides reasonably with that religion’s tenure on Earth. The following are descriptions from “Wikepedia”.
“One view of the Aquarian Age is a world ruled by secretive, power-hungry elites seeking absolute power over others; that knowledge in the Aquarian Age will only be valued for its ability to win wars; that knowledge and science will be abused, not industry and trade; and that the Aquarian Age will be a Dark Age in which religion, especially Christianity, will be considered offensive. The following are descriptions from “Wikipedia”.
“Another common position sees the Age of Aquarius as that time when humanity takes control of the Earth and its own destiny as its rightful heritage, with the destiny of humanity being the revelation of truth and the expansion of consciousness, and that some people will experience enlightenment in advance of others and therefore be recognized as the new leaders in the world.”
Of course, both these views speak of an age without God and a celebration of the evolution of humanity to a superior enlightenment. Certainly, we have witnessed this in the exposure of the “deep state” and the ruling “elite” over the last few years. Every one of their strategies and vises are being exposed, shaken and brought to judgement by God ordained alliances as we are move to a revelation of Jesus Christ as divine ruler in the world. Mellissa “Redpill” has a couple of excellent books which speak to all I have mentioned especially about the role of #45 and the coming Kingdom.
I believe, instead of the celebration or humanity, we are moving into a time of worshipping the God of the universe. I believe, the church as we knew it in the age of “Pisces” will no longer be effective. There will be a knew revelation and understanding of “Christ in me, the hope of glory”. God will rule in the hearts of the “sons of God” (Romans 8:19) as they take and teach the “Gospel of the Kingdom” throughout the world and the universe.
It will be a time of divine favor upon those who bow the knee and confess that Jesus is Lord. Our corporate gatherings will be more about celebration and worship of the Lord and not about meeting the needs of community. His house will be filled with the glory of GOD. The glory of the latter house will indeed be greater than the former because we will become a church not made of bricks and stones, but a living church made of living stones, 1 Peter 2:4-5 (ESV)
“As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
A few weeks ago, when Don Potter was here, he spoke of the ‘Revelation” actually being a revelation of Jesus Christ in every age instead of the “Book” of Revelation that just applies to the end of the age or eschatology. He also said that Prophet Bob Jones said that only 2% of the present church would make it into the next age. How do we make sure we’re part of the 2%.
I believe one way is to make sure you’re known by God. Spend time with the Lord and be genuine and authentic around Him. He knows the cries of your heart so make sure you tell Him as part of your worship. Jesus said this in Matthew 7:21-23 (ESV).
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness’.”
Become a friend of God. He shares His mysteries with His friends.
The second is to ask the Lord to burn up and consume everything in you that is not Him. Allow Him to consume all your dead works. Dead works are things we tried to do to impress God but did not originate in Him.
The Apostle Paul states in 1 Corinthians 3:13-15 (ESV)
“Each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.”
Like the writer of Hebrews states, that seems to be happening in this season. Invite the Lord to examine your life and invite His fire to consume everything in you that He desires. Allow Him to purge you so all that remains is Him. Allow the “fear of the Lord’ to be your motivation. All these things are important as we prepare to move into a new glorious age.
