In the first chapter of the Letter to the Ephesians, there is a prayer which reflects his desire for the saints in the church of Ephesus. We find this prayer in verses 15-23.
“For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love[a] toward all the saints, 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.”
That should be the goal and desire for every discipleship program written under the sun, especially that our spiritual eyes be opened to see and know the “glorious inheritance in the saints”. One of the areas that I think will be revealed in this next age will be the ability to see in move in realms that were not necessarily available everyone in the past age. I personally believe that there will be an “Enoch Generation” that is about to explode on the scene in the days ahead. The Apostle Paul knew this was available by inspiration or He wouldn’t have written the words given to him by the Holy Spirit. History shows that the church at Ephesus grasped this encouragement from Paul and literally saw this perverted principality of “Dianna” come crashing down. Ephesus was free from this sexual cult for the next 200 years.
Dianna’s temple, also called the “Temple of Artemis” was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Paul ends his letter giving instruction of our inheritance in Ephesians 6:10-12 (ESV)
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Before his passing, Neville Johnson was a real Papa to the church as he continued to push the edge of the envelope into realms that the church was not used. I believe Dr Bruce Allen received Neville’s mantel to continue to lead the 21st century church further into realms of glory. We are so blessed that Bruce and Reshma speak into the life of Cornerstone. In Dr Bruce’s book “Gazing Into Glory”, he makes this statement;
“As we study the words that Jesus spoke in the New Testament, we discover that He preached repeatedly about the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven. His message was not exclusively focused on salvation. As a matter of fact, He spoke more about the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven than He did about salvation. Why? Salvation is the entry or the portal – the doorway into the Kingdom of God. Once you have accepted Christ, you now have free access into the realm of existence that you never knew before. Salvation unlocks the door. The Lord wants everyone to accept Him as Savior because His heart is that none should perish. However, He also desires that we cross the threshold into His Father’s Kingdom. Jesus knew that only as we enter and interact with the Kingdom of Heaven can we progress in gaining our inheritance and ruling as sons”
I invite you to come both Saturday and Sunday and explore this inheritance together with us and Bruce and Reshma. Lets explore our spiritual inheritance together.
